Welcome to the Zuluwe Foundation
BACKGROUND During a stay in Kwazulu-Natal for a course of Ecology, we were both amazed about the beauty
of nature as well as the hospitality of the local people. Two people made an especially great impression on us: Mgcineni, a
field assistent at the reasearch station and his wife Mbali. For their wedding, held in their village we were welcomed with grace
and received as guests of honour. They only have a small income, but they try to make the best of it! They both work hard and with
their wages they're not only raising their own children but also supporting their extended family. Their plans for the future of their
children are more then beautiful, but it's hard to achieve in a land that still has a lot of problems.
AIM
We strongly admire them and are in a fortunate position to be able to give something back. That's why we want to give them a hand by
giving their children the opportunity to get decent education. Our first aim is to finance the education of three children. In the
future we hope to support more children and more families. In addition we aim to support two government schools, providing them with
equipment for a better education and future for all the children in the area.
